The Ambassador

Bernard Emié has been Ambassador of France to the United Kingdom since 2 April 2011. The French Ambassador in London is the personal envoy of the President of the Republic to the Court of St. James. Appointed in the Council of Ministers, he represents the Head of State, the Government and all the Ministers. Vested with the authority of the State, he directs the work of all the Embassy sections and French government agencies in the UK.
