C3M is a research institute run by the French National Institute for Health and Biomedical Research (INSERM), and the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. It is a new 4000 sqm building that opened in 2008, and is located within the Nice l’Archet University Hospital.
The C3M research Centre, which brings together 120 scientists who conduct fundamental and translational research with strong interactions with medical research, develops its scientific program around three research axes:
I. Proliferation, cellular death, differentiation and cancer
II. Biology of Host/microorganism interactions :
III. Metabolic diseases

C3M will consider applications from both individual researchers aiming at creating a team and existing research teams, in connection with axis II and III. Selected candidates will be able to apply to all programs funded by the French Research and Health Ministries for biomedical research or by INSERM such as Avenir program. The total available space corresponds to 5 modules, allowing for the accommodation of 5-6 persons each.
Groups will benefit from state of the art local core services, including cell imaging (http://www.unice.fr/c3m/EN/PlateFor…), mouse facility, and FACS sorting.
