Earthquake in Chile – Communiqué issued by the Presidency of the Republic
Paris, 27 February 2010
President Sarkozy was deeply shocked to learn of the earthquake which hit Chile early this morning and killed a very large number of people.
In these tragic circumstances, the Head of State wants to express to the Chilean people and their authorities his wholehearted solidarity, and that of the French people./.
